Empress Marine has in place a comprehensive management system to ensure that all Health, Safety, Environment and Quality (HSEQ)standards are met, and where possible exceeded. This system is currently being prepared for (ENV) ISO 14001:2004, (OHSAS) ISO 18001:2007 and (Q) ISO 9001:2008 certification.
Vessels employed by Empress Marine undergo regular auditing to Oil Companies International Marine Forum (OCIMF) and Offshore Vessel Inspection Database (OVID) standards. The company is also undergoing pre-qualification towards ISNetworld compliance.
Empress Marine vessels are manned by experienced offshore personnel with the appropriate Master 4 and 5 certificates of competency. All crew have STCW95, senior First Aid, AMSA medicals, HUET, Sea Survival and Dogging & Rigging Certificates of Competency.
The company’s exhaustive safety regime has ensured a zero incident record since the establishment of Empress Marine in 2006.
