Chevron Post-Development Dredge Monitoring
During 2014-15 Empress Marine operated with Mscience at Barrow Island, carrying out BRUVS (Baited Remote Underwater Video Stations) surveys associated with Post-Development Dredge Monitoring for Chevron.
Work scope included the deployment and retrieval of BRUVS, together with ongoing video surveillance of marine life at designated monitoring locations around Barrow Island. Deployment required accurate positioning of BRUVS in shallow water locations.
Empress Marine was required to undergo the stringent Barrow Island quarantine process before and during work scopes and again upon completion. The company was awarded a Chevron Certificate of Appreciation for its rigorous quarantine compliance.
